Predicto World Cup - update 30th June

Another penalty shoot out last night, which was good news for Pamso and Sally who both had the draw.

quite a harsh result for the Mexicans as well, a well, their curse continues!

the updated table

no major changes, Shoom is still four points ahead of Jean and Kev

At the bottom, Pamso’s points move her ahead of Tracey who is now all alone at the bottom

Predicto World Cup - games of 30th June

A couple of surprise picks for Nigeria. Ted and Tracey, and Pamso has the draw. This looks to be the most one sided of all the knockout games, but it has been a World Cup of surprises so far

Ben and Tadga both going for Algeria in this one, and the ever indecisive Pamso has the draw. ITV are trying to make out there is some kind of “beef” in this one due to (West) Germany and Austria playing out the famous 0-1 match to put them both through at Algeria’s expense, so lets hope its a fiery one.

The other question around this game is who will score the german goals, if there are any? Klose or Muller?

Predicto World Cup - update 29th June

What an exciting start to the knockout stage. Felt really sorry for Chile, its a shame both teams couldn't go through.

Wiffy was the only one to emerge with a point from that game courtesy of Alexis Sanchez.

Cavani the Fani and his useless Uruguayans are out, and to be fair Colombia were by far the more exciting team, and them v Brazil is looking like a great game

the table

Shoom remains in front, a four point lead now - can anyone catch him? Kev and Jean seem like the only possible candidates, both European Predicto Champions (past and present).
